Description of the mechanism of action

The extract of this plant is made from the brown fruits of the saw palmetto plant, which thrives mainly in the southeastern United States. The plant has been used for many centuries to treat prostate problems. According to a 1993 report from Germany, 90% of patients suffering from benign prostatic hyperplasia receive natural therapeutic substances. 50% of German urologists prefer to administer plant extracts instead of synthetic drugs. Of all the plants, saw palmetto is the most widely used.

The data on the effectiveness of saw palmetto is impressive.
