Liposomes are lipid spheres that allow the protection and subsequent release of apo-lactoferrin. Apo-lactoferrin (an iron-free form of lactoferrin) is more active than lactoferrin itself (5 times) because the binding to iron occurs in the open form of the apo-protein, allowing easier access to Fe ³⁺ or complexed ions.
Lactoferrin is an iron-chelating protein involved in numerous biological mechanisms. It acts as an iron transporter, belongs to the transferrin family, and is widely studied for its many beneficial effects. However, apo-lactoferrin is naturally unstable and is particularly sensitive to the proteolytic action of pepsin in the stomach and the proteolytic hydrolysis of pancreatin in the intestine.
This results in protein denaturation, poor absorption, and inactivation. ApoLact TDC, thanks to its modern microencapsulation technology, overcomes these problems and is the first advanced formulation to guarantee the glycoprotein's efficacy.

Ingredients
Each 550 mg capsule contains 100 mg of lactoferrin.

How to use
Take 1 capsule 1-2 times daily.
Maximum dose: 2 capsules per day.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Lactoferrin is a protein extracted from cow's milk; therefore, its use is not recommended for those with a milk protein allergy.
