Notes:

This medicine contains 65% alcohol by volume. If the dosage instructions are followed, up to 2.54 g of alcohol are ingested with each dose (1 teaspoon).
Health risks exist, particularly for people with liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain damage, pregnant women, and children. The effects of other medications may be impaired or enhanced.



Application:

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults should take 1/2 teaspoon of Hetterich valerian tincture, diluted with half a glass of water, 2 to 3 times daily for calming purposes and 1 teaspoon half an hour before bedtime for sleep disturbances. Children should take half the amount.



Side effects

Even when used as directed, taking Hetterich valerian tincture can impair reaction time to such an extent that the ability to actively participate in road traffic or operate machinery is affected. This effect is intensified when combined with alcohol.
