This nutritional supplement can be used from birth. Co-Lactase should only be used until the child develops enough of its own enzyme, usually around 3-4 months.

Use

• When feeding from the breast: Pour a few spoonfuls of breast milk into a small sterilized container, add 4 drops of nutritional supplement. It is given to the baby on a sterilized plastic spoon or syringe, and breastfeeding is then continued as normal.
• Baby food: Baby food is prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions. 4 drops of the nutritional supplement are added to milk at a temperature suitable for feeding (not to hot milk). After addition, the prepared food is stirred. Unused prepared food is discarded.
• Preparing food in advance: Baby food is prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions. Add 2 drops of nutritional supplement to warmed (not hot) milk and store in the refrigerator. Prepared nutrition must be used within 12 hours of preparation. It will warm to a normal temperature suitable for feeding. Unused nutrition is eliminated.
• Preparation instructions for administration: Cool hot food to administration temperature. Add 4 drops of nutritional supplement to the prepared food (not hot). Shake and serve. Unused nutrition is eliminated.

Warning

Keep out of reach of children. The established recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Nutritional supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Use as directed by your doctor. After opening, keep in the refrigerator and use within 3 weeks.
