The LINEX® COMPLEX food supplement contains live, lyophilized bacteria from the genus *Lactobacillus* – more precisely, the strain *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* GG.
*Lactobacillus rhamnosus* GG belongs to the group of lactic acid bacteria that are part of the human intestinal microflora. *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* GG is a well-known and intensively studied strain of lactic acid bacteria that restores and maintains the balance of intestinal microflora in both adults and children.
In addition, LINEX® COMPLEX contains carefully selected vitamins – B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin) and B6 (pyridoxine) – as well as the mineral zinc, all of which provide health benefits.

Lactobacilli – lactic acid bacteria – are naturally found in the human small and large intestines, along with other bacteria.
The composition of the intestinal microflora is dynamic. Variations in the number of bacteria in the intestine are a natural and continuous process. These changes depend primarily on nutrition, age, the availability and composition of substrates for the development of microbiota, intestinal pH, intestinal health, as well as place of residence and lifestyle. The healthy balance of the intestinal microflora can be disrupted by various factors, such as:
Viral and bacterial intestinal infections (e.g., traveler's diarrhea, rotavirus infections)
Antibacterial treatment (e.g., with antibiotics)
Stress
An unbalanced or improper diet
Disturbance of biorhythm (e.g., changing time zones during travel)
Imbalances in the intestinal microflora are often associated with gastrointestinal problems – such as intestinal discomfort, flatulence and diarrhea – but also with a weakened immune system and skin allergies, such as atopic dermatitis.
Administration of the *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* GG strain – present in the LINEX® COMPLEX food supplement – ​​helps restore and maintain the natural balance of intestinal microflora.

Numerous scientific publications and clinical studies involving *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* GG indicate that this probiotic strain may have beneficial effects on the functioning of the gastrointestinal and immune systems; it has also been shown to be safe and well tolerated. For these reasons, the *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* GG strain is recommended by many experts. How are LINEX COMPLEX capsules administered?
Adults and children over 6 years of age: 1–2 capsules per day.
If you are unable to swallow the capsule, it can be opened; the contents can be emptied into a spoon and mixed with a small amount of liquid (do not mix with hot drinks, to avoid damaging the product). If you open the capsule, the contents should be taken with food. Probiotic capsules should be taken at least 3 hours after taking antibiotics (if prescribed).
