Cosmopor Advance - Postoperative patches with high absorption capacity, which do not allow the passage of exudate.

Characteristics:
Self-adhesive patch on non-woven material support and absorbent body with DryBarrier® technology. The contact layer with the wound is created from a fine polyethylene mesh, which prevents sticking to the wound; a transfer layer passes the exudate to the absorbent layer and keeps it there to prevent its passage back into the wound.
Cosmopor advance has a special absorption and retention capacity, with an additional lining effect; it is gentle on the skin thanks to the hypoallergenic synthetic adhesive.
Cosmopor® Advance includes Dry Barrier® technology, which allows exudate from the wound to be absorbed by the dressing, remaining locked inside, even when pressure is applied.
This combination between the absorption capacity and the blocking of the exudate inside allows the postoperative patch to remain on the wound for a longer time.
The patches are sterile, self-adhesive, made of a soft, non-woven material, with an absorbent body with high absorption capacity. In addition, the layer that comes into contact with the wound prevents the adhesion of the patch to the surface of the wound.
For post-operative wound treatment and sterile dressing of minor wounds, for example in first aid cases.
Cosmopor Advance is especially recommended for covering postoperative wounds with a high volume of exudate.
