nenedent® Junior toothpaste was specially developed for children aged 6-12 years during the transition from baby teeth to permanent teeth. The enamel of the new permanent teeth is still thin and not fully hardened after eruption.

Daily consumption of sugary and acidic foods and drinks constantly attacks tooth enamel.

nenedent® Junior provides the necessary protection. It hardens tooth enamel with 1,450 ppm sodium fluoride and inhibits the growth of caries bacteria with 13% xylitol. D-Panthenol (provitamin B5) protects irritated gums from emerging teeth. The pleasant taste motivates children to brush their teeth regularly.

Valuable ingredients:

• Fluorides are mineral salts of the element fluorine and are classified as trace elements. They occur naturally in the form of many minerals, for example in water and food. In the human body, they are needed for the formation of teeth and bones. In dentistry, fluorides are used for caries prophylaxis. This is achieved by utilizing their remineralizing effect and strengthening of tooth enamel.
• Xylitol tastes similar to table sugar and has almost the same sweetness. When consumed, it creates a cooling effect in the mouth because it absorbs heat from the surrounding air upon contact with saliva. Various fruits and vegetables serve as natural sources of xylitol, and it is also found in significant quantities in birch bark. In the 1970s, xylitol's anti-caries effect was discovered, demonstrating a significant reduction in tooth decay. Furthermore, xylitol, which is also considered a sugar substitute, stimulates saliva production and promotes the remineralization of tooth enamel.
• Silica gel , or silicic acid, occurs naturally as opal and in the cell walls of diatoms. In dental care products, it is used as a mineral abrasive for gentle yet thorough cleaning.
• Panthenol , also known as provitamin B5 or dexpanthenol, has clinically proven healing properties. It is a common ingredient in wound ointments and significantly contributes to skin regeneration. In addition to supporting healing, it increases skin hydration and strengthens the skin barrier. As an ingredient in junior toothpaste, panthenol promotes the healing of gums around falling and erupting teeth during the mixed dentition phase.
