NAWAlution

Description
Sterile, filtered, alcohol-free solution with a low pH. For cleansing, decontaminating, moisturizing, and healing acute and chronic wounds. Contains cocamidopropyl betaine, polyaminopropyl biguanide, and trace elements.
Characteristics:
- for the painless physical cleansing of acute and chronic wounds;

- for the removal of adhered dressing material or crusts during dressing changes;

How to use
Wound cleansing: Cleanse the wound with NAWAlution to loosen coatings and/or biofilm. NAWAlution can be applied undiluted directly from the bottle to the wound. The 500 ml and 150 ml bottles are intended for wound cleansing, the 50 ml and 500 ml sprays for large-area nebulization, and the 150 ml Foamer for applying foam to the wound. NAWAlution should then be removed with a sterile swab (mechanical cleaning). Rinsing is not necessary. Moisturizing with dressings: Soak dressings (e.g., compresses, gauze) with NAWAlution and apply to the wound for approximately 10–15 minutes. After soaking, wounds should be cleaned mechanically with standard sterile swabs.

Components
Purified water, cocamidopropyl betaine, polyaminopropyl biguanide, trace elements (zinc, iron).

Warnings
Do not use if you have a known allergy or suspect an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients. Do not use in combination with anionic surfactants. Do not moisten silver-containing dressings with NAWAlution. Avoid contact with cartilage tissue. Contact a doctor if the wound is large, very wet, or infected, as special treatment is required. Seek medical attention for burns of degree 2b or higher. Use on pregnant or breastfeeding women, infants, and young children should only be done with the mandatory advice of a physician after consultation.
For external use only. Do not ingest. Do not use for infusion or injection. For medical use only. Dispose of the bottle immediately after contact with the wound or in case of contamination. Keep out of reach of children. Close after use to avoid contamination.

Conservation
Protect from sunlight. Store in a dry place. Follow the instructions for use. Do not use after the expiration date.
