DAOSIN® - SIMPLY EAT EVERYTHING

Many people avoid foods they would like to eat for fear of the consequences. The reason: their bodies cannot properly break down the histamine contained in these foods. Among other things, chocolate, aged cheese, tomatoes, and red wine are therefore off-limits.

Normally, the body's own enzyme diamine oxidase – DAO for short – breaks down histamine ingested through food. In some people, this enzyme is insufficient to break down histamine. This leads to an increased histamine level in the intestines.

DAOSiN® supports the body in breaking down histamine from food. Taking DAOSiN® tablets before meals can increase the amount of DAO in the small intestine, ensuring sufficient histamine breakdown from food in the digestive tract.

What should be considered when taking DAOSiN®?

The tablet should not be chewed before swallowing, but swallowed whole. This allows the contents to pass through the stomach and into the intestines unharmed.

Which foods contain a lot of histamine?

Cheese, chocolate, red wine, smoked mackerel… there are many foods with a high histamine content. In addition, a number of foods act as so-called histamine liberators, as they release additional histamine. In particular, the combined consumption of foods high in histamine, such as alcohol and cheese, can contribute to an increase in the body's histamine levels.
