FORA 6 Total Cholesterol (TCH) test strips are used for the quantitative determination of total cholesterol in capillary whole blood. They are intended for use with compatible FORA 6 series meters, in particular the FORA 6 Connect.

The test strips enable rapid cholesterol measurement with a small blood sample and are suitable for regular monitoring of total cholesterol levels. Together with other FORA-6 test strips, a single measuring system can be used to monitor various important metabolic parameters.

Product features: Measurement parameter: Total cholesterol (TCH), sample material: capillary whole blood, measuring range: 100–400 mg/dl (2.6–10.4 mmol/l) , required blood volume: approx. 3.0 µl , and measuring time: approx. 60 seconds . One pack contains 10 individually usable test strips .

The FORA-6 platform offers the advantage that, in addition to total cholesterol – depending on the measuring device used and the corresponding test strips – blood sugar, β-ketones, uric acid and hemoglobin/hematocrit can also be determined.

The FORA 6 platform combines traditional self-measurement with modern digital documentation. When used with a Bluetooth-enabled FORA measuring device, measurement results can be wirelessly transmitted to the iFORA MP app . This eliminates the need to manually enter measurements into a logbook.

iFORA MP & Bluetooth Connectivity

With iFORA MP, compatible FORA measuring devices can transmit their measurement data to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. The app enables digital storage, clear display, and long-term tracking of the measurement results .

This allows patients to track their vital signs and their development more conveniently. Digital documentation can also support structured discussions of the measurements with doctors or medical professionals.

Especially with FORA 6 Connect, this creates a networked multi-parameter system : Depending on the FORA test strips used, various metabolic parameters can be measured and digitally documented with one device platform.

Instructions: Insert the test strip into the compatible FORA-6 meter, apply the blood sample to the test strip according to the instructions for use, and read the measurement result on the display after the measurement is complete. Use test strips only once.
