Description
The medical device Granudacyn ® is a transparent solution intended for irrigation (rinsing) of wounds:
- acute eg cuts, surgical wounds, bites,
- chronic, for example diabetic foot ulcer,
- contaminated (colonized or infected).
How does Granudacyn® Wound Wash work?
Granudacyn ® cleans the wound mechanically by rinsing, reducing the unpleasant smell. After use, it does not require rinsing or neutralization. It has a neutral pH, and the preservative it contains - hypochlorous acid, naturally present in the body - prevents the proliferation of Gram+ and Gram- bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores. Its presence in the formula ensures that the solution is safe to use 60 days after first opening the container.
Granudacyn ® Wound Cleansing Fluid is also a product that facilitates dressing changes. It weakens them, making their removal painless.
