Product description:
Lanolin, also known as wool grease or wool wax, is a secretion produced in the sebaceous glands of sheep. This secretion forms a protective coating over the sheep's wool fibers, shielding them from external influences. After the sheep has been sheared, the wool fibers are thoroughly cleaned, and the lanolin is collected for further processing. It can then be used primarily in homemade skincare products.

Lanolin is particularly valued in skincare for its skin-nourishing and softening properties. Its ability to bind large amounts of water is especially beneficial for sensitive and compromised skin. Lanolin helps to restore soft, supple skin. It also stimulates skin regeneration and leaves the skin feeling pleasantly soft.

Application:
Additional information regarding the quality of the ingredient lanolin: Adeps Lanae, type SP according to Ph.Eur. 8, with butylhydroxytoluene (BHT <200mg/kg). Butylhydroxytoluene is used as an antioxidant.

Application concentration: 2 - 70%, as active ingredient 2 - 3%.
