Self-adhesive finger plaster for fingertip and joint

This self-adhesive finger plaster is specifically designed for quickly and reliably bandaging fingertips and finger joints. It can be individually adjusted and offers flexible everyday use thanks to two different application methods. The self-adhesive properties eliminate the need for an additional fixation strip.

Versatile application for fingertips and joints

For the fingertip, the fingertip bandage is suitable: The bandage is placed behind the first finger joint, leaving a small overhang above the fingertip. The remaining bandage is then torn off and wrapped diagonally towards the fingertip until another overhang is present. This overhang is simply pressed down onto the fingertip in any direction – this ensures the bandage stays securely in place.

For joints or as a pressure bandage, the bandage is folded in half to form a pad. For better fixation, it is first wrapped diagonally around the joint. The pad is then positioned at the desired location and secured by wrapping it once horizontally. Afterward, it is wrapped horizontally again around the area until the pressure bandage is fully applied.

Instructions for use

The bandage should always be applied with only light tension. Excessive tension is unnecessary and can impair comfort. Before applying the finger plaster, it is recommended to use a suitable wound dressing and/or disinfectant on any wounds.

Important information and precautions

If the bandage is applied too tightly, it can pinch or constrict over time. In this case, the bandage must be removed immediately and reapplied with less tension. Be sure to regularly check the circulation in the affected finger. If you are unsure about how to use it, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
