Vismed Eye Drops 0.18% - 20 minims x 0.3ml

0.18% sodium hyaluronate of fermentation origin. Moisturizing eye drops. Sterile, preservative-free.

Ingredients:

1 ml of solution contains: 1.8 mg of sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, and water for injection. The solution is hypotonic.

Side effects:
In very rare cases, temporary symptoms may occur, such as conjunctival irritation, foreign body sensation, redness and burning of the eye, and short-term blurred vision.

Dosage and method of administration:
Unscrew the tip. Tilt your head back and place the edge of the container over your eye. Pull down your lower eyelid with the tip of your index finger. Squeeze the container, and one drop of VISMED® will flow easily. Unless otherwise directed, instill 1–2 drops of VISMED® into your eye as often as needed. Blink to spread the solution, which will create a clear, long-lasting film on the eye's surface. VISMED® is suitable for use with contact lenses (both rigid and soft).

Precautions:
Do not touch the edge of an open container. Do not touch the eye surface with the edge of an open container. Otherwise, the container must be discarded immediately after use. Close the container after use. Since VISMED® does not contain preservatives, the solution must be used within 12 hours of opening. Any remaining solution not used within 12 hours of opening must be discarded. Otherwise, sterility is not guaranteed, which may lead to an increased risk of infection. Do not use VISMED® if the container is damaged. Store below 30°C! Do not freeze! Do not use VISMED® after the expiry date which is stated on the container and carton. If symptoms persist despite the use of VISMED®, consult a doctor. Keep out of the sight and reach of children!

Characteristics and method of operation:
VISMED® contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer that is also a component of the eye's structures. The unique physical properties of sodium hyaluronate give VISMED® viscoelastic properties and water-retaining properties. VISMED® creates a stable layer on the eye's surface, which is slowly removed by blinking. Therefore, VISMED® provides long-lasting relief while maintaining maximum comfort. Its unique composition ensures good tolerance. VISMED® is preservative-free.
