Biotin (vitamin B7) is also called the memory vitamin. It is one of the few vitamins that pass into the cerebrospinal fluid and thus is directly involved in the chemical metabolism of the brain.
Properties:
- Vitamin B7 deficiency can occur as a result of short bowel syndrome, inadequate nutrition or malabsorption syndrome.
- Long-term excessive consumption of raw egg white can cause the same result mentioned above.
Biotin plays an important role in the following physiological processes:
- metabolic and energy-generating processes;
- contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system;
- normal macronutrient metabolism;
- maintaining normal psychological functions;
- contributes to the maintenance of hair and skin health;
- helps to maintain the normal state of the mucous membranes.
Active ingredient:
Vitamin B7 (biotin) 900mcg
Ingredients: calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, cellulose coating, biotin, carboxymethylcellulose, vegetable glycerin, sodium citrate.
