Many male dogs have preputial catarrh, an inflammation of the foreskin, because they mark places where other dogs have marked before them.
The germs reach the mucous membrane of the foreskin through droplet infection.
If bacterial growth is not contained, inflammation with heavy secretion can occur.
This can be avoided through regular treatment with Caniprevent.
