GranuSEPT

A medical device in the form of a solution intended for cleansing and rinsing wounds. It is used to cleanse, moisturize, and disinfect wounds at risk of infection. It can be used on both acute and chronic wounds.

Composition

0.016% hypochlorous acid.
Excipients: ionized water, sodium chloride, monosodium phosphate and sodium magnesium fluorosilicate.

Action

GranuSEPT wound cleansing solution mechanically removes foreign bodies from the wound bed, which can lead to irritation or infection, and flushes out irritants responsible for unpleasant odors. Furthermore, the product moisturizes the wound, ensures optimal pH, and supports oxygenation and the healing process.

Product purpose

This product is intended for all family members (including newborns) for cleansing all types of wounds and preventing infection. It can be used for abrasions, cuts, lacerations, first- and second-degree burns, and burns resulting from radiation and radiotherapy; for cleansing and moisturizing wounds; and for use on irritated and infected skin. Recommended for wounds with biofilm.

The solution can also be used to moisten the dressing and wound or to soften a dried dressing for painless removal.

Product characteristics

GranuSEPT cleanses wounds and is also used for debridement and protection against infection. It neutralizes unpleasant wound odors. Furthermore, its use relieves symptoms associated with painful skin irritations.

How to use a medical device

Apply the solution to the wound and wait for it to dry.
Use as needed.

Contraindications and precautions

Before use, please read the instructions for use or the label.
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. If you experience any disturbing symptoms or adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Do not swallow.
Do not use for more than 30 days without consulting a doctor.
