Intenson Inulin is a product with a high dietary fiber content. Inulin has a slightly sweet taste, so it can be used as a sugar substitute to reduce the caloric value, while maintaining the creamy consistency of the meal. The product contains 100% inulin from chicory, without food additives and ingredients of animal origin, being suitable for vegans.
What properties does inulin have?
Inulin is a polysaccharide with a wide range of properties. A characteristic feature of inulin is primarily its low caloric value. Inulin has gelling and thickening properties, so it can be a fat substitute. Each 100 g of inulin contains up to 89 g of pure fiber.
The product Intenson ® Premium Superfoods is pure inulin obtained from chicory ( Cichorium intybus ) for use as an addition to dishes, as a source of fiber in a balanced daily diet.
