Description
Relief from respiratory illnesses
Tacholiquin 1% inhalation solution contains tyloxapol, which loosens mucus in the upper and lower respiratory tract and thins thick mucus, making it easier to cough up. It does not increase mucus production. The solution can be used in children aged 12 and over and adults, except in cases of pulmonary edema or fluid accumulation in the lungs.
Tacholiquin 1% solution must be nebulized using an aerosol device for treatment. Commercially available inhalation devices meet this requirement, in particular vibrating membrane, compressed air, or ultrasonic devices. Steam inhalation with hot water is unsuitable.
