Description

Product features:

UrgoStart
Absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with micro-adhesive TLC-NOSF wound healing matrix and protective polyurethane backing

Reduction of the healing time of lower leg and pressure ulcers through the TLC-NOSF wound healing matrix.
Economical wound therapy.
Improved quality of life for patients.
Effective exudate management and protection against maceration.
Atraumatic and painless dressing change.

Areas of application:
Exuding chronic wounds (e.g. lower leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers) from the granulation stage onwards

Application:

UrgoStart can be cut with sterile scissors to adjust the size of the dressing to the wound.
UrgoStart is fixed with a secondary dressing (e.g. Urgomull adhesive latex-free or Urgoderm Stretch).
UrgoStart can also be used in combination with compression therapy (e.g. UrgoK2).
Wearing time: 2 to 4 days.
A treatment duration of at least 8 weeks is recommended.

Contraindications:
Do not use UrgoStart on tumor-induced wounds and fistula-like wounds that show deep-seated pus formation (abscess). Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to UrgoStart.
