^Artelac® Complete ^EDO® is our complete solution for targeted symptom relief in the most common forms of dry eye.
As a remedy for dry eyes, it is inspired by the composition of natural tear fluid: Just one drop of ^Artelac® Complete ^EDO® moisturizes all three layers of the tear film. The eye drops, containing lipids, stabilize the outer layer, thus reducing tear fluid evaporation. The natural moisturizer hyaluronic acid (0.24%) and glycerin bind moisture, while carbomer further moisturizes and binds water within the tear film.

Dry eyes can also be accompanied by increased tear production. This is caused by a disruption in the composition of the natural tear film, which leads to the tear fluid running over the eyelid margin. Replenishing the missing components provides relief for dry, irritated eyes.

MEIBOM GLAND DYSFUNCTION

One of the most common causes of dry eyes is a dysfunction of the meibomian glands, which produce the lipid component of the tear film. This promotes increased evaporation of the aqueous components of the tear film. Targeted treatment of the disrupted tear film is then necessary.

Instructions for use:
Carefully detach one single-dose vial from the strip. Twist (do not pull) off the cap. Tilt your head back slightly. With a finger of your free hand, gently pull down your lower eyelid. Hold the single-dose vial vertically above your open eye. To avoid possible injury or damage, avoid touching the surface of your eye with the dropper tip. Gently squeeze the vial and dispense one drop into your eye. Close your eye, move it slightly from side to side, and blink to distribute the drop evenly across the surface of your eye.
