The airplane launcher uses two rotating wheels. A lot of energy is stored in the wheels as they spin. When you slide the paper airplane between them, some of the energy is transferred to it, and the airplane is launched at high speed. You can adjust the height of the legs on the airplane launcher to launch the airplanes from different angles.
