Topical emulsion for external use based on hyperoxygenated fatty acids.

Prevention of lower extremity ulcers (venous, arterial and diabetic foot).

Prevention and treatment of stage I and II pressure ulcers (non-blanching erythema on intact skin).

Its use reduces the frequency of recurrences, characteristic of lower extremity ulcers.

In addition, its moisturizing emulsion formulation allows the use of compression stockings immediately after application.

Hyperoxygenated fatty acids improve blood microcirculation, preventing tissue ischemia, promote epidermal cell renewal, improving skin resistance, and restore the hydrolipidic film, preventing skin dehydration. Mimosa tenuiflora promotes epithelial growth, and Aloe barbadensis provides a moisturizing and soothing effect.

Hyperoxygenated fatty acids, Mimosa tenuiflora, Aloe barbadensis and excipients.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Prevention of pressure ulcers and ulcers of the lower extremity and treatment of stage I pressure ulcers: After carrying out the usual cleaning treatments, apply 2 or 3 times a day to the areas at risk or affected by the ulcer, spreading the product with your fingertips.

Using postural changes and other general prevention and care practices, as well as following recommended hygiene and posture measures, can prevent the formation of skin ulcers.

Treatment of stage II pressure ulcers and early stages of lower extremity ulcers: After performing the usual cleaning procedures, apply directly to the ulcer, or apply it to a sterile gauze pad, which is then applied to the ulcer. Cover the ulcer with an appropriate bandage. Repeat the application two or three times a day until completely healed.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

In case of excessive redness of the skin, it is advisable to use Mepentol solution.

Healthcare personnel or caregivers who apply MEPENTOL MILK must adopt the minimum standards and precautions of a healthcare facility (e.g., the use of gloves).

It is also recalled that the product:

1. It is for external use.

2. It must be kept out of the reach and sight of children.

3. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or tampered with.

4. Store below 30ºC.

5. Should not be used after the expiration date.
