Vismed Gel Eye Drops, 0.45ml x 20ml

0.3% sodium hyaluronate of fermentation origin. Hydrogel for long-lasting eye hydration. Sterile, preservative-free.

Ingredients:

1 ml of solution contains: 3.0 mg of sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, and water for injection. The solution is hypotonic.

Side effects:
In very rare cases, temporary symptoms may occur, such as conjunctival irritation, foreign body sensation, redness and burning of the eye, and short-term blurred vision.

Dosage and method of administration:
Unscrew the tip. Tilt your head back and place the edge of the container over your eye. Pull down your lower eyelid with the tip of your index finger. Squeeze the container, and one drop of VISMED® GEL will flow easily. Unless otherwise directed, instill 1–2 drops of VISMED® GEL into your eye as often as needed. Blink to spread the solution, which will create a clear, long-lasting film on the eye surface. VISMED® GEL is suitable for use with contact lenses (both rigid and soft).

Precautions:
Do not touch the edge of the open container. Do not touch the eye with the edge of the container. If contact with the edge of the container does not occur, apply the solution and discard the container immediately after use. Because VISMED® GEL does not contain preservatives, the solution should be used within 12 hours of opening. Any solution not used within 12 hours of opening should be discarded. Otherwise, sterility is no longer guaranteed, which may lead to an increased risk of infection. Do not use VISMED® GEL if the container is damaged. Store below 30°C! Do not freeze! Do not use VISMED® GEL after the expiration date indicated on the container and carton. If symptoms persist despite administration of VISMED® GEL, consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children!

Characteristics and method of operation:
VISMED® GEL contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer that is also a component of the eye's structures. The unique physical properties of sodium hyaluronate give VISMED® GEL viscoelastic and water-retaining properties. VISMED® GEL forms a stable layer on the eye's surface, which is slowly removed by blinking. Therefore, VISMED® GEL provides long-lasting relief while maintaining maximum comfort. Its unique composition ensures good tolerance. VISMED® GEL is preservative-free.
