Properties:

Zinc controls and regulates metabolic processes, enzyme activity and maintains cell integrity. It is part of many vitally important enzymes that catalyze numerous biochemical reactions, from those that contribute to the development of cells to those that lead to the synthesis of testosterone.

Also, zinc stimulates mental activity and helps the brain function properly. The daily requirement of zinc is 8-10 mg. However, it should be noted here that only 30-50% of the amount of zinc provided by food is absorbed by the body.

Losses in zinc occur during the thermal preparation of food, in infectious diseases and in various traumas, in case of liver diseases, heart attack, anemia, cancer, pregnancy, menstruation, lead poisoning, inflammation of the prostate, antibiotic treatments, etc.

Zinc deficiency affects growth and sexual development, decreases appetite, accelerates the rate of aging, leads to anemia, hair loss and nail deformation, liver disease, repeated infections, decreased taste and olfactory sensitivity, difficulties in wound healing, various neuralgias, installation of prostatitis, damage to the immune system, sexual impotence, decrease in sperm production and disorders of the reproductive system.
