• Wash your hands before and after use. Apply the patch to clean, dry skin. Do not apply cream to the lip, as this could cause the patch to detach. Tear off one patch along the perforated edge to separate it.
• Hold the transparent film applicator at the curved end.
• Carefully peel the transparent film applicator off the turquoise protective cover with both hands.
• The round herpes blister patch is located on the upper part of the applicator. Avoid contact with the adhesive side as much as possible.
• Using a mirror, place the upper part of the applicator onto the cold sore and press down gently to fix the patch in place.
• Carefully peel off the applicator and leave the patch in place. Makeup or lipstick can be applied over the patch.
