Choline is an organic chemical compound that is a component of some phospholipids, in particular. This compound supports the proper functioning of the liver, contributes to the maintenance of proper fat metabolism, while it plays a role in maintaining the correct metabolism of homocysteine*.
Ornithine is a chemical compound belonging to the group of α-amino acids. However, ornithine is not a protein-forming amino acid, but participates in the ornithine cycle (Krebs urea cycle).
