Description
Food for special medical purposes with calcium L-methylfolate, B vitamins and zinc.
A product with a high L-methylfolate content for the dietary management of subjects with hyperhomocysteinemia resulting from a confirmed genetic deficiency of methyltetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR). L-methylfolate, in the presence of specific coenzymes—vitamins B12, B6, B2, and zinc—can provide the methyl group necessary for the reconversion of homocysteine ​​to methionine, even in the presence of the genetic defect.

Ingredients
Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate; glazing agent: acetylated starch; zinc oxide; glazing agent: talc; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; glazing agents: calcium carbonate, glycerol; anti-caking agents: talc, vegetable magnesium stearate; calcium L-methylfolate, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin); colorings: iron oxides; vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

1 tablet per day.

Warnings
The product must be used under medical supervision. The product is suitable for oral administration in adults; the product is not suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition.
Due to its high folic acid content, the product is contraindicated for subjects who do not have the genetic defect of methyltetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR).
