ApoTears 0.4% is a sterile, moisturizing solution of sodium hyaluronate intended for use in moisturizing, hydrating and protecting the eyeball.

• Sodium hyaluronate has mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic properties that improve the stability of the tear film and provide a feeling of comfort on the ocular surface through hydration, hydration and protection. The moisturizing and protective properties of sodium hyaluronate relieve irritation, dryness, burning and foreign body sensation in the eyes caused by environmental factors such as wind, sun, dry air, salt water, smoke, excessive lighting, air conditioning, heating, prolonged use of the computer or after ophthalmological procedures or the frequent and prolonged use of contact lenses.

The bottle is equipped with an innovative and patented Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser (OSD) multi-dose system for preservative-free preparations. OSD prevents potentially harmful bacteria from entering the solution, so it remains sterile for up to 2 months after first opening the bottle.
