Gelatinized black maca is made from 100% black maca roots. It is a 4:1 product, meaning that 4 kg of raw maca are needed to produce 1 kg of gelatinized maca. The gelatinization process removes all the starch content. The result is a powder that is easier to digest than raw maca.
