How do the main ingredients work?
PROBIOTICS: Deactivated bacteria from the Lactobacillus family (a major component of the lactic acid bacteria group). These probiotics are extremely gentle on the skin and help support the protective barrier of the microbiome.
PREBIOTICS: A blend of ultra-soft fibers and sugars that nourish the skin's good bacteria, thus supporting the skin barrier.
LACTIC ACID: Lactic acid, the gentlest form of AHAs, helps the skin achieve its optimal pH balance, provides intense hydration, and leaves the skin appearing smoother. Gallinée uses a slow-release form that is also suitable for sensitive skin.
pH VALUE: All Gallinée products are manufactured to match the optimal pH value of the skin and microbiome. This is particularly important for gentle skin cleansing.
YACON EXTRACT: The yacon root, which comes from the same family as the Jerusalem artichoke, contains one of the highest amounts of prebiotics found in natural plants. In Central America, it is often used as a natural sugar. The yaconine in Gallinée products is cold-pressed to preserve its beneficial properties.
ORGANIC MYRTE EXTRACT: Originating from the French Mediterranean region, myrtle is a plant with a high content of phenolic compounds, which are known for their antioxidant effect and protect the skin from oxidative stress.
Application
Apply to face and neck morning and evening after cleansing. Gallinée's Universal Face Cream can also be used as an ideal makeup base.
