Acufen forte is indicated as an adjunctive treatment for patients with cerebrovascular disorders and conditions that cause auditory changes, such as tinnitus and hearing loss. Citicoline helps promote the synthesis of phospholipids and lecithin, increase blood flow in the cerebral microcirculation and correct the altered state of lipoproteins in the blood. Ubiquinol, a bioavailable metabolite of coenzyme Q10, has antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing properties, thus contributing to the preservation of cellular integrity.
