Elastomull 8 cmx4 m elastic fixation band 2101 20 pcs.
Description
Elastic fixation bandage for secure hold of wound dressings
This highly elastic fixation bandage with a high cotton content is specially designed for the reliable fixation of wound dressings. It is particularly suitable for frequently moving and conical body parts, as well as for use on joints. Its elasticity allows the bandage to conform well to body contours, thus ensuring a stable hold for the applied wound dressing.
Application areas
The fixation bandage is used to secure wound dressings when a secure hold is required, even during movement. It is particularly suitable for body regions that are subject to heavy use or have a conical shape, such as arms, legs, or joints. This ensures the wound dressing stays where it is needed without easily slipping.
Application and handling
First, place the desired wound dressing on the affected area. Then, wrap the highly elastic fixation bandage around the affected area with gentle tension until the wound dressing is securely in place. Ensure the bandage is applied evenly to avoid pressure points and ensure comfortable wear.
Instructions for use
The bandage should be applied so that it stays in place securely but doesn't constrict. Check regularly to ensure that mobility is maintained and that there are no signs of pressure or circulatory problems. If you are unsure about the correct application, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
