Optive Advance

Description
Sterile, preservative-free multidose solution containing 0.5% sodium carboxymethylcellulose, 0.9% glycerin, 0.1% sodium hyaluronate, boric acid, sodium borate decahydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, erythritol, levocarnitine, purified water and sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment.

How to use
Prepare the bottle for first use:
1) Remove the clear protective cap by pulling it upwards. Discard the clear protective cap. Do not use Optive Advance if the clear protective cap or flap is damaged or missing.
2) Remove the flap from the colored cap by pulling the end of the flap away from the bottle and turning it counterclockwise. Discard the flap.
3) Remove the colored protective cap by pulling it upwards. Keep the colored cap for later use.
4) Activate the bottle for first use by gently squeezing the bottle and releasing a drop onto a tissue. Become familiar with the time and pressure required to release a drop. Wait a few seconds after squeezing to allow the drop to fully release. Be sure to re-inflate the bottle between each release. Repeat this process twice. Avoid letting the tip of the bottle touch the tissue.
5) The bottle is now ready for use. Gently squeeze the center of the bottle and release one drop into the affected eye. Please note that there may be a delay of a few seconds between squeezing the bottle and the drop appearing. Do not squeeze the bottle excessively. Instill 1 or 2 drops into the eye as needed. After administration, allow the bottle to swell and then replace the colored protective cap by pushing it down.
Please note that if used as directed, a small amount of Optive Advance may remain in the vial and may not be completely released.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not swallow the solution. To avoid contamination or possible eye damage, do not place the tip of the bottle on any surface and avoid direct contact with the eyes. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the product. Do not use if the cap or protective flap is damaged or missing. Do not use if the solution changes color. Keep out of reach of children. Wait 5 minutes between administration of ophthalmic products. Discard any remaining solution 3 months after first opening. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you experience eye pain, vision changes, persistent redness or irritation, or if the condition worsens.

Conservation
Store at room temperature. Use before the expiry date stated on the packaging.
