Benefits:

Glucosamine and collagen are part of connective tissue.

Connective tissues (which include the vitreous body of the eye) are made up of specialized cells, a fibrillar matrix, and water.

The fundamental components of the matrix are collagen, hyaluronic acid and proteoglycans.

These fibrillar molecules fulfill the role of support but, physiologically, are subject to oxidative or enzymatic degradation processes, balanced by a continuous synthesis.

With aging or under certain other conditions, degenerative processes exceed those of synthesis, which makes it necessary to slow down degeneration and stimulate synthesis.

In particular, chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine act synergistically, being fundamental substances for the structure of connective tissues and for enzymatic action.

LUBRISTIL SYNFO, thanks to its components, protects, moisturizes and lubricates the ocular surface.

It is indicated in all cases of ocular discomfort and dry eyes caused, for example, by:

Dry eye syndrome

Eye surgery

Allergic reactions

Chronic use of topical medications (such as ocular hypotonizing agents, preservative-containing eye drops, etc.)

Use of systemic medications (such as hormone replacement therapy, antihypertensives, antidepressants, antihistamines, etc.)

Menopause

Aging

Stress related to environmental factors (pollution, air conditioning, smoke, wind, etc.)

Prolonged use of electronic devices (computer, tablet, phone)

Use of contact lenses.

The product does not contain preservatives, so it can also be used by contact lens wearers. LUBRISTIL SYNFO contains two natural polymers, sodium hyaluronate and xanthan gum, with lubricating, moisturizing and mucomimetic properties. The reepithelializing and antioxidant effects of both components are augmented by their synergistic action.

LUBRISTIL SYNFO also contains glycine and betaine, substances with osmoprotective action that favor the maintenance of cellular homeostasis which is usually altered in cases of dry eye. Glycine and betaine play a role in the remodeling phase of the ocular epithelium during the healing processes, acting as osmoprotectants on cells exposed to hyperosmotic stress.

Thanks to the combination of sodium hyaluronate, xanthan gum and osmoprotectors, LUBRISTIL SYNFO hydrates, lubricates and repairs the ocular surface, helping to restore homeostasis and protecting it against oxidative damage. LUBRISTIL SYNFO also guarantees a long-lasting sensation of soothing and maximum comfort.

Ingredients:

Sodium hyaluronate, xanthan gum, glycine, betaine, Tris-HCl buffer, sodium chloride, purified water.

How to use:

Instill 1 drop of LUBRISTIL SYNFO into the conjunctival sac four times a day or as needed.

Precautions:

Do not use LUBRISTIL SYNFO if the bottle is opened or damaged. During application, ensure that the dropper tip does not come into contact with the eyes, eyelids or other surfaces.

Store below 25 °C. Do not use LUBRISTIL SYNFO after the expiry date. Do not dispose of the product in the environment after use. The administration of LUBRISTIL SYNFO to children or people with limited abilities must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Interactions with other drugs or medical devices for ocular use: There are no known interactions of the product with the administration of other drugs for ocular use; therefore, it is recommended to avoid the use of other drugs or medical devices for ocular use within 10 minutes of administering LUBRISTIL SYNFO. It is not necessary to remove contact lenses before administering LUBRISTIL SYNFO since the product does not alter the physical characteristics, including transparency, of the most common soft, semi-rigid, or rigid contact lenses.

Side effects: Use of the product may occasionally cause a slight burning or irritation. If any of these reactions occur, discontinue use of the product.
