Sofargen ^® Spray is a medical device for topical application to the skin. This powder spray dressing contains light kaolin and silver sulfadiazine and is intended to support the treatment of superficial skin injuries such as abrasions, scratches, and cuts.

Sofargen ^® Spray - properties of the spray dressing ingredients

Silver sulfadiazine, an organometallic compound obtained by reacting silver nitrate with sulfadiazine, prevents microbial contamination of the dressing and protects the wound from exogenous bacteria. At the same time, light kaolin creates a mechanical barrier that protects damaged skin from external factors while simultaneously wicking and absorbing wound exudate .

Thanks to its unique ingredients, ^Sofargen® Spray helps control exudate while creating conditions conducive to the skin's natural healing process and providing effective protection against bacterial penetration. Importantly, once applied to the skin, the product remains at the site of application and does not cause stretching of the wound edges. It can be easily removed by flushing the wound with a solution.
