Bearwort-pear honey mixed powder
- To cook the much-praised pear puree, you need a can of the bearwort pear honey mixed powder.
- The mixed powder, according to the original recipe, consists of the ground herbs bearwort, galangal, licorice and savory.
- Pear puree can be enjoyed during fasting or even more often throughout the year.
For preparing Hildegard's pear porridge.
Take 8 pears, core and chop them. Cook the pears in a little water and then mash them. Add the entire can of Bärwurz pear and honey mix. Add honey to taste, if desired, mix well, and bring to a brief boil. Then pour into 3-4 hot containers. Ideally, freeze all but one container and thaw the next one as needed.
