CORNEANORM eye drops

Description
Sterile, hypertonic ophthalmic solution that lubricates and protects the ocular surface, indicated for the relief of symptoms of corneal edema and promoting the restoration of the physiological state of the eye. Formulated with 5% sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium hyaluronate and polyhexanide. 5% sodium chloride hypertonicizes tears and, by osmosis, extracts excess water from the corneal tissue, reducing edema. Sodium hyaluronate, the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, has a film-forming action and a very high moisturizing capacity and can protect the cornea due to its lubricating properties. Polyhexanide is an antimicrobial substance that helps maintain the sterility of the solution during use, preventing contamination with microorganisms once the bottle is opened. Adjuvant in the treatment of corneal edema, including postoperative, post-traumatic or due to corneal dystrophy. Lubricates and protects the ocular surface during the treatment of corneal edema. Compatible with homeopathic remedies.

How to use
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly; instill 1-2 drops in each eye once or several times a day, as needed or as directed by your doctor. If used in children, the product should be administered by an adult. Dispose of according to local regulations.

components
Sodium chloride 5%, sodium hyaluronate 0.05%, polyhexanide (PHMB), hypertonic buffered solution at pH 7.2.

Does not contain: benzalkonium chloride, chlorhexidine, phenoxyethanol, parabens, thimerosal and components of animal origin.

Use of this product may cause temporary eye irritation and burning. If discomfort persists or if eye irritation occurs, consult a physician. Do not use if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the product's components. Consult a physician before use on children under 3 years of age, during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in the presence of other medical conditions. Do not use if you have an eye injury. Keep away from heat sources. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow. Do not use after the expiration date. Keep sterile until first opened. Reclose the bottle tightly after use. Do not use if the bottle is damaged. Do not touch the surface of the eye with the pipette tip. The product is not compatible with contact lenses. Administer the product at least 5 minutes before or after administering other topical ophthalmic products.

Conservation
Store in a dry place, at a temperature between 5 and 35°C.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 28 days.
