Hyalopathen® eye drops for animal eyes

Hyalopanthen® eye drops are a sterile, preservative-free, phosphate-free solution specially formulated for use in animal eyes. The drops improve the tear film and provide effective protection for the ocular surface. An intact tear film is essential for the regeneration of the superficial ocular tissues.

These eye drops, which are free of preservatives and phosphates, are particularly suitable for sensitive eyes and long-term use. They are ideal for animals with pre-existing corneal damage, as they create a regenerative environment for the cornea and conjunctiva.

Application

To avoid contamination, the dropper tip should not come into contact with the animal's eye or skin. Positioning your hand at the animal's head can make application easier. Especially with small animals like dogs and cats, it can be helpful to stand behind the animal. Remove the protective cap and hold the dropper tip pointing downwards. Gently tilt the animal's head upwards, pull down either the lower eyelid or lift the upper eyelid, and carefully administer 1 to 2 drops into the eye. Praise the animal afterwards, shake off any excess drops, and close the bottle tightly.

Instructions for use

The frequency of application depends on the individual needs of the animal. Multiple daily administrations are perfectly fine. It is recommended to use the product within 6 months of opening.

The solution is isotonic and buffered to a pH of 7.5.
