What properties does black cumin oil have?
Black cumin ( Nigella sativa ) is a prized oil-producing herb. Its seeds produce oil rich in omega 6-9 unsaturated fatty acids, including linoleic acid and oleic acid.
Linoleic acid (LA) helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect of linoleic acid occurs when 10 g of LA is consumed per day. Replacing saturated fats in the diet with unsaturated fats, which include oleic acid, helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. In addition, vitamin E helps protect cells against oxidative stress.
The dark glass bottle contains 250ml of unrefined cold pressed black cumin seed oil which will provide 25 days of daily unsaturated fatty acid supplementation.
