The inner pouch has crystals on its outer wall and is immersed in water for 12 minutes. It is hollow inside, meaning it has no internal compartments. After activation, the inner pouch is 3-4 cm high and feels damp.

With frequent use, only re-immerse the bag in water for 3-5 minutes, especially if the crystals become noticeable. The Frio cooling bag needs to breathe and works with an evaporative cooling system.

If the outside temperature is a constant 37 degrees C, the Frio cooler bag will maintain a temperature between 18 and 26 degrees C for a period of up to 45 hours .

If the outside temperature is a constant 30 degrees C, the Frio cooling bag keeps the insulin cool for up to 28 days .
