Its special shape allows for easy application to problem areas such as heels, elbows, amputation stumps, toes, and testicles. The absorbent foam core with integrated silver supports the treatment of wounds at risk of infection and infected wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. The antimicrobial effect provides continuous protection against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including MRSA. Allevyn Silver Non-Adhesive Foam Heel Dressing offers excellent cushioning and can be cut to size for various wounds. Fixation with, for example, Opsite Flexigrid or bandages is recommended.
