HYLO DUAL INTENSE® is intended for the intensive and long-lasting moisturizing of chronically dry and irritated eyes with inflammatory symptoms.

The eye drops combine 0.2% hyaluronic acid with 2.0% ectoine . This dual action stabilizes the tear film, protects the eye surface from further drying out, and relieves typical symptoms such as burning, itching, and redness .

Dual operating principle

0.2% hyaluronic acid

The highly concentrated hyaluronic acid has pronounced water-binding properties and forms a smooth, long-lasting moisture film on the surface of the eye.

2% Ectoin

Ectoin supports the stabilization of the tear film and the natural barrier function of the ocular surface against inflammatory stimuli.

The combination of both ingredients makes HYLO DUAL INTENSE® particularly suitable for moderate to severe forms of dry eye with inflammatory symptoms .

1 ml of solution contains:

• 2 mg sodium hyaluronate equivalent to 0.2% hyaluronic acid
• 20 mg ectoine corresponding to 2.0%
• boric acid
• Borax/Sodium Tetraborate
• Water for injection purposes

Areas of application

HYLO DUAL INTENSE® is particularly suitable for:

• chronically dry eyes
• severely dry eyes
• irritated eyes
• burning eyes
• itchy eyes
• red eyes
• inflammatory symptoms in dry eye
• unstable tear film

Application

Typically , 1 drop is placed into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times a day .

In cases of more severe symptoms, HYLO DUAL INTENSE® can be used more frequently after consultation with a specialist.

COMOD® system

The special COMOD® dosing system enables hygienic application without preservatives.

A 10 ml bottle contains at least 300 drops .

Once opened, HYLO DUAL INTENSE® can be used for 6 months .
