Application:
Comfeel Plus Transparent hydrocolloid dressings are indicated for a wide range of non- to low-exuding chronic wounds. These dressings are suitable for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers and pressure sores, as well as acute wounds such as superficial burns, second-degree burns, split-thickness skin graft donor sites, postoperative wounds, and abrasions. Depending on the specific characteristics of the wound, the dressing can be worn for up to 7 days. Comfeel Plus Transparent can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing.

Comfeel Plus Transparent Hydrocolloid Dressings provide a moist wound environment for healing and support wound protection in the final stages of wound healing. The top layer is water- and bacteria-repellent to protect the wound from external factors and smooth to reduce friction. The semi-permeable top layer allows moisture to evaporate and maintains a moist wound environment for healing.

Wound inspection:
Comfeel Plus Transparent hydrocolloid dressings are equipped with a grid for wound inspection and to indicate changes. The transparent material of Comfeel Plus Transparent wound dressings has a positive effect on the healing process because healthcare professionals can assess the wound without having to change or lift the dressing. User-friendly design:
Comfeel Plus Transparent Hydrocolloid Dressings feature a 3-part, touchless application system that allows for aseptic and controlled application. The turquoise touchpoints simplify the application process. A full-size product photo is printed on the packaging to facilitate product selection. Additionally, the pouch includes illustrated application instructions for optimal use.

Mode of action:
When the dressing comes into contact with wound exudate, it forms a viscous gel that absorbs the exudate but does not adhere to the wound bed. Excess moisture evaporates through the semipermeable top film.

Product composition:
Comfeel Plus Transparent consists of moisture-absorbing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles embedded in a synthetic, elastic, and adhesive base. The top film is a semipermeable polyurethane film. Comfeel Plus Transparent contains no pectin, no known allergens such as latex or rosin, and no animal products such as gelatin.
