Product characteristics

Opatiq sterile dressing gauze is made from natural, purified cotton fibers. It is highly absorbent and odorless. It is bleached using hydrogen peroxide (non-chlorinated) and sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO).

Indications

Sterile gauze is used to cleanse wounds, absorb blood from the wound area, and prevent wound infections. It is intended for use in:

• direct wound care;
• absorption of exudates, also during procedures;
• securing wounds as a mechanical barrier;
• during surgery.
