Special care must be taken with their preservation and hygiene, sterilizing them periodically and replacing them when the teat becomes deformed, the material is sticky, or cracks appear. Do not soak them in sweet substances, as this promotes the development of cavities. It is not advisable to use chains to hang the pacifier from the baby's neck, to avoid possible accidents. It is preferable to attach it to clothing or the crib using approved chains and straps, with safety clasps. To protect the pacifier, prevent it from falling or getting dirty, use specific pacifier clips and chains. Inspect carefully before each use, especially when the child has teeth.
