Description
Cosmopor Transparent, a transparent film dressing with an absorbent layer, is a medical device intended for the dressing of traumatic and postoperative wounds. The package contains 25 individually wrapped sterile dressings, each measuring 10 x 20 cm.
How is Cosmopor Transparent transparent dressing constructed?
The dressing consists of 2 layers:
- a layer of semi-permeable polyurethane coated with polyacrylate adhesive,
- absorbent layer made of viscose fibers, covered with polyethylene mesh.
When applied to the skin, the absorbent layer comes into direct contact with the wound without sticking to its surface. Absorb exudate flowing from the wound.
The transparent film is self-adhesive and waterproof. Facilitates the penetration of gases and water vapor.
