HYLO DUAL® eye drops provide intensive lubrication for dry, irritated, burning, or itchy eyes . The combination of 0.05% hyaluronic acid and 2% ectoine stabilizes the tear film and protects the ocular surface from excessive evaporation.

The eye drops are particularly suitable for dry eyes that are accompanied by inflammatory or allergic symptoms such as itching and burning.

Dual operating principle

Hyaluronic acid possesses pronounced water-binding properties. It forms a smooth and long-lasting film of moisture on the surface of the eye.

Ectoin is a naturally occurring molecule with cell-protective properties. It supports the stabilization of the lipid phase of the tear film and can protect the ocular surface against irritants and allergens.

The combination of both components thus supports both the moisturizing and the stabilization of the tear film .

1 ml of HYLO DUAL® contains:

• 0.5 mg sodium hyaluronate corresponding to 0.05%
• 20 mg ectoine corresponding to 2%
• boric acid
• borax
• Water for injection purposes

Areas of application

HYLO DUAL® is particularly suitable for:

• dry eyes
• burning eyes
• itchy eyes
• irritated eyes
• foreign body or sand grain sensation
• Watery eyes due to impaired tear film quality
• allergic eye irritation
• Environmental pollutants such as pollen, dust, or dry air

Application

Generally , 1 drop of HYLO DUAL® is placed into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times a day .

In cases of more pronounced symptoms, HYLO DUAL® can also be used more frequently following appropriate professional advice.

The eye drops are suitable for adults and children aged 6 and over.

Contact lenses

HYLO DUAL® can generally also be used while wearing contact lenses.

After inserting the contact lenses, you should wait about 30 minutes before using the eye drops.

Notes

HYLO DUAL® should not be used in case of a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

If eye problems persist or worsen, an ophthalmological consultation should be sought.

If other eye drops are used, a time interval should be observed between applications. Eye ointments should always be applied after HYLO DUAL®.

Once opened, the instructions for use must be followed regarding storage.
