Description:

LAXIT® MED helps normalize intestinal transit through a natural action, without irritating the intestinal mucosa, without being absorbed, being eliminated through stool in unchanged form.

Benefits:

• Due to its affinity for water, LAXIT® MED softens the stool, making it easier to pass. In this way, it provides a feeling of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps or abdominal pain.
• The product's effectiveness does not decrease with prolonged use.
• The effect occurs within 24-48 hours after administration.

Indications:

LAXIT® MED is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of constipation in adults and children over 8 years of age.

How to use:

• The contents of one sachet (10 g) are dissolved in 100-200 ml of water and then administered orally. The powder can be mixed with any drink, even hot, such as: tea, milk, fruit juice or soup.
• LAXIT® MED does not change the taste of the drink. It is recommended to take it between meals or, in the case of a single dose, in the evening before going to bed.
• Due to its safety, LAXIT® MED allows great flexibility in dosage. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, it is recommended as follows:
• Adults: 1 sachet 1-3 times a day, depending on individual response.
• For a faster effect, a dose of 2 sachets (20 g Macrogol 4000) can be taken as a single dose. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 1 sachet 1-2 times a day, administered on alternate days (e.g. one day 1 sachet can be administered, preferably in the evening before bedtime, and the next day 1 sachet can be administered between breakfast and lunch and 1 sachet in the evening before bedtime).
• Children: over 8 years: 1 sachet 1-2 times a day.
• Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
• LAXIT® MED is used until normal bowel movement is restored, but not for more than 28 consecutive days. Administration can be resumed after a break.

Precautions and contraindications:

• Do not use LAXIT® MED in case of hypersensitivity to macrogol, severe inflammatory bowel diseases (such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), toxic megacolon, perforation or risk of perforation, intestinal obstruction, painful abdominal syndrome of undetermined cause.
  
• During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product will only be used on the recommendation of a doctor.
• People prone to electrolyte imbalances, such as those with liver or kidney failure, should use LAXIT® MED with caution.
• Occasionally, abdominal distension and/or nausea may occur as a result of continued use.
• Very rarely, erythema (red spots), urticaria or serious allergic reactions (anaphylactic type) may occur.
• In this case, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Ingredients:

Each sachet contains 10 g of Macrogol 4000. It does not contain flavorings or other excipients.
