Broccoli capsules

Broccoli is a close relative of cauliflower. Like all other types of cabbage, it originates from a wild form that grows primarily on the Mediterranean and western coasts of Europe. As with cauliflower, the thickened flower heads are eaten.

Broccoli contains the following ingredients:

Broccoli capsules contain 250 mg of broccoli sprout concentrate standardized to sulforaphane in a hard gelatin capsule. The daily dose of 500 mg of concentrate corresponds to 10 g of broccoli. Broccoli is the most important source of sulforaphane glucosinate, which is found in particularly high concentrations in the flower buds. These are harvested at approximately 10 cm in length, before the flowers open. Sulforaphane acts as a phase 2 protein inducer. Thus, this natural component of broccoli acts as a powerful antioxidant, as studies have shown. It inhibits or neutralizes the formation of oxidants. Consuming broccoli contributes to cellular health.
